COMING IN FROM THE COLD

P1020553

Emma, Michael and their two boys Hamish and Angus (our grandsons) are returning to Australia to live after 4 years in England.  They are leaving England tomorrow and will arrive in Brisbane on Saturday.  Lots of preparations are underway!  Hamish probably doesn't remember the last time he was here and Angus was born in England and hasn't been to Australia yet.  It's very hot and humid just now, so it will be quite a change for them.  I'm wondering what they will make of all the "nature" noises - the birds - laughing kookaburras, whip birds, parrots...also at night the racket the frogs and cicadas make when the sun has gone down.  To begin with they may feel as though they are in a jungle!

I took this photograph when I was over visiting in August.
