When you give, you are the master of the situation - acceptance is something else. Often people feel 'obligated' when they receive a gift.
Perhaps the challenge of the Gospel, lies precisely in the invitation to accept a gift for which we have nothing to give in return.
When we notice someone really accepts us fully, we want to give everything we can.
In this acceptance of each other, there is no place left for prejudice because instead of defining others, we let them appear to us as ever new.
A good conversation is a process where we give each other the strength to go on, to celebrate together, to be sad together and to inspire one another.
