It was our "adopted" grand-daughter Rebekah's birthday on Saturday. David and I headed down to the Gold Coast (about a 3 hour drive east and south) to where she and her mum and dad (Sam and Alastair) live. We stayed over and had a lovely weekend with them all. Rebekah and Sam are heading off to England on Wednesday (for 6 weeks) to introduce the wee one to friends and family.
