Tania at www.taniakindersley.blogspot.com (Backwards in High Heels) put up a blog recently on a fabulous new radio programme being put on by BBC Radio 4. It is called A HISTORY OF THE WORLD IN 100 OBJECTS - the objects coming from the British Museum. What a way to look at world history. The first episode begins with the sound of a dying star. I download it on to my MP3 player and listen on my morning walks. Each episode is around 15 minutes long. Hope a book will come out featuring each object and an essay to go with it.
